Working principle:

These systems are indirectly measuring the force applied onto a metal or concrete structure by measuring Its strain.

Stain link series 940:
Strain link series 940 is the measuring device common for both systems: It is tightly fixed with screws to the measured frame and It concentrates the mechanical strain, lying between the two bottom fixing zones, into Its middle section where there is a 4 active arms Wheatstone bridge that transforms It into an electrical signal.
Series 940 strain link is able to measure tension and compression mechanical strains but the bigger signal amplitude is from flexion strains.

Electronics series 694A:
It feeds power supply to the strain link series 940, It receives the signal from series 940, It has from 2 to 4 max. alarm levels with relays and It has a voltage analog output

Electronics mod. 699:
With microprocessor, 4 digits red LEDs display, alarm levels with relays outputs, easy to use and with zeroing function for long term stability.
