Liquid level sensors

Working principle:
The series SMARTANK system includes a magnetostrictive transducer mod. PCS, a float mod. AFC-2S, an electronics mod. MLPS and a software mod. FASTSET.
SMARTANK system has a good sale price.

Transducer mod. PCS:
The mod. PCS has its measuring probe and the magnetic float mod. AFC-2S submerged in the liquid.
The magnetic float mod. AFC-2S is moving coaxially along the measuring probe of mod. PCS.
The electronics inside the mod. PCS is continuosly feeding into the waveguide, contained insdie the measuirng probe, electrical pulses at high frequency (START pulses).
Whenever the START pulses reach the position of the AFC-2S magnetic field, a mechanical pulse that travels backward (STOP pulse) is generated.
By measuring the elapsed time between the START and STOP pulses, like for radars, the float position is thence calculated.
The PCS transducer is doing absolute measures.

Electronics mod. MLPS:
The mod. MLPS recives the signal from transducer mod. PCS and shows on display the liquid highness “mm” or Its volume “liters” by using the linearization table of the tank (where for each “mm” value is matched Its corresponding “liter” value).

Software mod. FASTSET:
The mod. FASTSET software is to be installed into and external computer (not included) in order to calibrate the SMARTANK with the tank and to memorize the linearization table.
