Inductive displacement transducers
Working principle: Linear displacement transducers series SP are LVDTs (Linear Voltage Differential Transformers). Series SP have one primary and two secondary coils that are in phase opposition. These coils are coaxially winded around the inner of the main transducer part that has a bore hole along Its main axis. A core, to be mechanically linked with the external object to be measured, is moving inside the bore hole and couples the magnetic field between the primary and the secondary coils (with a mV/V/mm scale factor). |
